The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is a mid-engined supercar, designed and developed by the Volkswagen Group and manufactured in Molsheim, France, by Bugatti Automobiles . The original version had a top speed of 408.47 km/h (253.81 mph). The current Super Sport version of the Veyron is recognized by Guiness World Records as the fastest street-legalproduction car in the world, with a top speed of 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph),[5] and the roadster Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse version is the fastest roadster in the world, reaching an averaged top speed of 408.84 km/h (254.04 mph) in a test in 6 April 2013.
